Bordertown Grand Opening Celebrations

The Border Chronicle wrote this lovely article to celebrate the Grand Opening of our Bordertown Clinic:

Country Living Dentistry Bordertown showcased its freshly renovated facilities to over 60 members of the community at the clinic’s opening event held on Tuesday November 13.

The renovations took place over the duration of six months and were carried out by local tradesman Marcus Hillier, Peter Faulds and Daniel Staude.

Tatiara District Council mayor Graham Excell and CEO Anne Champness attended the opening night, as well as local business representatives, Country Living Dentistry staff and greater members of the community.

Country Living Dentistry dentist dentists Dr Vyla Ellis said the team were extremely proud of the facility and they were pleased to have received excellent community feedback.

“The opening gave the community the opportunity to have a look through the clinic and see the huge improvements we’ve made,” she said. “The clinic has become a really inviting space. It’s light and airy with plush comfy chairs.

“It’s a state-of-the-art clinic with the latest technology and we have special cameras with 50 times magnification which allow us to show patients the problems with their teeth.”

Dr Ellis said the upgrades mean that Tatiara community members don’t have to venture to far to receive state of the art service and treatment.

“We can provide the vast majority of dental treatment here which means that patients can avoid trips to Naracoorte and Adelaide,” Dr Ellis said.

She said the Bordertown clinic now shares the same standards as Country Living Dentistry Keith.

“We have TVs on the ceiling with Netflix so that patients can enjoy their favourite show while they are in the chair,” Dr Ellis said.

“We have a full mouth x-ray machine which is a first for Bordertown and will mean that patients needing x-rays for braces or wisdom teeth can avoid having to drive to Naracoorte.”

Country Living Dentistry Bordertown is a family dental practice which provides a range of dental services from simple check-ups and fillings through to complex procedures.

The clinic can be contacted on 8752 1313 and is located on 71 Binnie Street Bordertown.
