Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry refers to a group of dental treatments which improve or enhance the smile. At Country Living Dentistry we provide a wide range of cosmetic treatments for those who want a whiter, brighter, straighter smile.

Tooth Whitening

A brighter, whiter smile can enhance your appearance and boost your self-confidence. Tooth whitening is popular choice as it is a non-invasive method of improving the appearance of the teeth.

There are many causes of tooth discolouration including coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco, some medications and the aging process. One or more of these factors may result in your teeth not looking as white as they should.

Tooth whitening is a comfortable and easy process and produces healthy and natural looking results.

We use the Pola Advanced Tooth Whitening System with custom made trays for the best long term results.

Tooth Coloured Fillings and Replacement of Metal Fillings

Our clinic places only tooth coloured fillings. We have a fantastic array of state of the art filling materials which are specifically used to repair front teeth with excellent aesthetic results. Unhappy with the look of your old metal fillings? Talk to us about replacement options. This may involve fillings, ceramic restorations or in some cases crowns.

Ceramic Restorations

Ceramic restorations, cerecs, inlays, onlays and partial crowns are an alternatives to large fillings. The terms are often used interchangeably although there are slight differences between them. They are all made of ceramic, have excellent aesthetics and are a stronger, long lasting alternative to fillings.

Crowns

Dental crowns encase a tooth to restore it to its previous form, function and appearance. A crown may be considered the optimum treatment for a tooth that is weakened due to trauma, decay or from extensive dental treatment such as a history of large fillings or root canal treatment. Dental crowns are made by hand in ceramic, gold or a combination of the two. Crowns have superior strength and aesthetics.

Bridges

If you are missing one or two adjacent teeth a bridge may be an option for replacement of these teeth. A bridge involves one or more crowns on teeth either side of the gap to support the replacement tooth. Replacement of missing teeth can restore aesthetics and function to your smile as well as preventing teeth either side of the gap from collapsing in.

Veneers

Veneers are a fast and extremely aesthetic solution to enhance your smile. Veneers can close gaps, straighten crooked teeth, mend chips and mask stained teeth. Veneers are a thin, yet strong piece of tooth coloured ceramic that are bonded to the front of the teeth. Veneers produce a great looking and long lasting smile.

Implants

Implants combine excellent function and aesthetics. Implants comprise a titanium screw which is placed into the jaw bone and a ceramic crown which sits on top of the screw. They can be used to replace one or all of the teeth and have shown themselves to be an excellent long term option. They are strong and provide both an exceptional functional and cosmetic solution.
